Privacy
This page explains what happens to your email address when you sign up for the Sylva beta. Short version: it is used to tell you when the beta is ready, and for nothing else.

What is collected
- Your email address, when you enter it in the form.
- The time you signed up and the time you confirmed. This is the record that you agreed.
- Whether an email was opened and whether a link in it was clicked. Brevo records this by default. It is used only to check that emails arrive.
- Technical data that any web server sees, such as your IP address. The host processes it to deliver the page and to count visits. Visit counting uses no cookies and does not identify you.
Why
To send you one email to confirm your address, one email when the Sylva beta is available, and the founding discount you were promised. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising or added to other lists.
Legal basis
Your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email, or by writing to the address above. Withdrawing does not affect anything that happened before.
Who handles the data
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) stores the list and sends the emails.
- Cloudflare hosts this page and counts visits without cookies.
Both act on my instructions under data processing agreements.
How long
Until you unsubscribe, or six months after Sylva's public release, whichever comes first. Then the address is deleted.
Cookies and fonts
This page sets no cookies. The fonts are part of the page itself, so nothing is loaded from Google or any other font service.
Your rights
You can ask what is stored about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its use, or receive a copy. Write to the address above and it is handled within days. You can also complain to the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at).
